Clendenin, WV – Flood Relief Project |
On June 23, 2016 West Virginia was hit by horrendous flooding from a storm that meteorologist call “training”. Training is when thunderstorms line up over the same location like the cars of a freight train. With steep mountains and narrow valleys this weather system cause deadly flooding and destroyed and damaged thousands of homes and businesses. Some locations received in West Virginia picked up more than a foot of rain in a few hours causing what some are calling a “one-in-1000-year flood.
Thank You to all the volunteers who came to Clendenin. You have been a great blessing to so many! |
